“Happy New Year!”The band left the stage, as the lights went down. On the screen, a fireworks display captured the audience’s attention, even though it wasn’t quite midnight, yet.
April sat for a moment contemplating on what she had just experienced. She was left with a numb-tingling presence of having witnessed something awe-inspiring.
He really IS a brand-new man. April was impressed with her husband’s ability to hit the high octaves in his songs so easily. Tears welled up and she wished she had a tissue.
